I shopped the Plenty Warehouse Sale this past Thursday night and got a sneak peek of the goods on sale this Easter long weekend. I remember 5 years ago when the sale was at a much smaller space on what is now Brassneck Brewery on Main Street; now, the sale sprawls over 20,000 square feet at the Vancouver Convention Centre, jam packed with racks of heavily discounted clothes, shoes, purses, and accessories. So, like a kid in a candy store, I flipped through each rack, table, and bin, getting the most of the calm before the madness prior to the sale.

I attended the Vancouver Fashion Week gala last Monday, under the tents at Queen Elizabeth Theatre. It was the kick-off to the start of the week and gave the designers to show a sneak peek look from their upcoming runway show. In attendance were some of Vancouver’s most stylish in their fashion-week best; I enjoyed the looks both on and off the runway.
I’ve been feeling a bit of “style fatigue” for a while now – not being able to put outfits together because you’re sick of almost every piece of clothing you own. Perhaps it’s the pressure to constantly put together new outfits for shoots, events, or even just day-to-day errand running due of the overwhelming desire to be stylish no matter where you are or what you’re doing.
