closet cleansing for a cause

I’m going through another I’m-getting-rid-of-my-entire-closet crisis and feeling a big closet cleanse is in the works. Perfect timing, because I’m going to be a seller in the next Shop the Blogger Closet Sale this Sunday!

My move towards a minimal and more sustainable closet starts at minimizing what I currently have. I decided to pare down quite about and sell about 75% of my closet, which seems like a lot, but I don’t wear everything in my closet so if anything, my loss is your gain. I’m going to have a big bin of $5 clothing, all of which will be donated to the sale’s charity of choice Because I am a Girl. The rest of my booth will be range from $5-$50, because if you know anything about me, I sure do love a sale (even if I’m the one having it!).

Here’s a sneak peek of what will be at my booth:

Shop The Blogger Closet Sale will feature 8 of Vancouver’s top style bloggers including: Randa Salloum, Britta Bisig of Vancouver Vogue, Claire Liu of Von Vogue, Vicki Duong of Flirty and Frugal, Charmyn Chan of Komorebi, Rina Doria of And She Dressed, and Holly Ho of Miss Holly Ho. Huge thanks to our sponsors: Flaunt Fashion Library, Mint to Inspire, Racinne Canada, Blenz Coffee, Baked by Meesh, and  I Like Her Style Vancouver.

The event will be hosted at Stretch Studio on 180 East Pender Street in Chinatown from 11am to 5pm. Entrance is free! All door donations will go to Because I Am A Girl, a charity committed to providing access to education and basic rights to women across the world.

If you’re in Vancouver this Sunday, register for your free entry here! Make sure to be one of the first 50 people through the door to grab a free swag bag, filled with goodies from local vendors and our generous sponsors.

See you there!
