There’s no doubt that springtime calls for change, and this spring is no different. I’m taking the plunge and making a move on the career front.
After exactly one year of being at my current position, I’ve accepted a job offer in a different company and am making a big move into corporate life. I don’t know if it’s because I’m getting older, but in the beginning of this year I’ve craved more stability and structure in my career. It was a tough decision, but I’ve always believed in trusting my gut, and my gut was telling me it was time for a change.
I’m grateful for the support system that guided me while I made the decision to leave – it’s always nice to have that reassurance and feedback to know that, no, I’m not totally crazy. I have a few days off before starting my new position, so I booked a trip to Harrison Hot Springs, a spa day, and a shopping trip across the border. I figured I gotta be relaxed and look the part on my first day!
